Ask and you shall receive. Several site members have emailed us asking if we would publish their personal review of a tablet on this site. We are responding with approval and applause. We are more than happy to have the readers write up a tablet review if they want to recognize, or steer people away from a device. If you are interested just submit the review on the contact page, with the term “review of” in the subject header followed by the tablet to be reviewed.
Objectivity is important here. Please try to refrain from attacking something on a personal level. If you want to complain that the $150 Coby Tablet you purchased is garbage (sorry Coby nothing personal you’re just a convenient example) because it can’t run Nvidia Tegra2 optimized HD games, or that lacks a 1080P screen resolution then you may have missed the point of that tablet. The 150 dollar price tag comes with many trade offs. Some of them being the 400 dollars more you would pay for an iPad2.
Each review should contain a list of
- Pro’s and Con’s
- A star rating 0-5 stars and half stars are acceptable
- What the tablet came with in the box
- The operating system (iOS, Android, webOS etc.)
- Identify the storage space, the slots on the device itself, and screen size and resolution/quality
Lastly when submitting a review, please identify whether or not you would like your username identified when it is posted live on the site.
When we do post your reviews we will post it with the category Member Review, and yes you can write a review of a device we have already covered.
