Newegg.com currently has a Motorola Xoom 10.1″ WiFi Android Tablet with 32 GB HDD for $100 off making it come in at $399.99. These are recertified (refurbished) models. Although not one of the more popular Android Tablets, the Xoom was the first to market and carries the Google Experience Device label. This means it will receive updates from Google immediately and is running completely stock Honeycomb. When Androids next Operating System is released named: Ice Cream Sandwich the Xoom should receive the upgrade almost immediately.
The release of the new Tegra Kal-El Quad Core+1 CPU/GPU is not very far off. This means that a lot of tablets should be dropping their price tags to make room for the new Superboy on the block. You may want to hold off on purchasing to decided if the Ice Cream Sandwich and Kal-El chips bring a lot to the table. If not you can save a lot of money and pick up many of the tablets currently available. Our collective site advice is to wait.
If you’re definitely wanting to buy a Xoom and are certain that a refurbished works well for you then here is the link . If you want more information on the tablet further read our Motorola Xoom review.
