I guess it is to be expected that these devices which are nearing launch start appearing in “leaked videos” and blurry cam shots.  Well that is exactly what happened on Engadget.  This 7″ screened soon to be released Android tablet is said to be running on a Tegra 3 quad core. With the bonus core for reduced power consumption.  It isn’t immediately clear which flavor of Android will be running on this at release, however judging from the slowness in the original Xoom with the 4G LTE upgrade, it might be a while before it gets an upgrade to Ice Cream Sandwich (Android 4.0) if the tablet ships with Honeycomb.  There are supposed to be two releases that coincide, with this.  One is a Media Center model and the other is simply a Xoom.  Separating one device as a media Center bundle seems forced to me and most likely confusing to the consumer. The introduction of an IR Blaster is these tablets is appealing to home theater enthusiasts.  If you were one of the few who purchased a Google TV (like myself) it is less relevant.  For those interested. It is running the Beta 2 which leaked a few weeks back and as a result doesn’t run netflix currently, which makes it not entirely unlike useless.
